How do you imagine someone could be a “truly perfect, gentle knight” while slaying “his foe”?
I don’t understand why Geoffrey Chaucer said like that because I think that no one can be a perfect person while they’re slaying someone else.
Louisiana Bones and the Temple of Gloom
I am an archeologist named Louisiana Bones. I have black, straight, short hair and brown eyes. I’ve been discovering the legendary thing in Africa. I have a nice, charming companion, Darlene Daring who has blonde hair and sky blue eyes. She’s been practicing Tae kwon do for 15 years and no one’s got her beaten.
We were wandering around the desert to discover something related to the legendary thing. We saw a sand storm rushing to us, but we couldn’t escape because it was coming too fast. We got trapped in it and we were thrown into a pyramid.
It was chill in there and extremely dark. We walked along the path and we reached at three tablets, inconsiderable codes on them. The first code had three big letters which seemed to be chinese. The second one had a frown face on it. The third, last one had black four drawings with white background. Suddenly, I remembered my teacher’s word in social studies class 7 years ago.
“Sunshine makes everything different.” I didn’t understand what that meant when I was 19, but I now I do. I brought them outside with curiosity.
“Didn’t you just hear something?” Darlene said anxiously.
“Nope. I hear the sunshine~!!!”
“Luis! I’m not kiddi….”
Suddenly, her voice was off and I saw something dark running into me. It took my tablets and ran away.
“Darlene!! Where are you?” I looked for her for 30 minutes. I finally gave up and went outside.
“Luis! What are you looking for?”
“I’m looking for my…..YOU!!!!”
Darlene was standing in front of me, holding the tablets. She said she was kidnapped by someone, but she beat him and brought the tablets back. I was so curious what it was saying. I looked at it and stunned. It said,
“YOU SHOULD SEE THESE TABLETS BEFORE SOMETHING STEALS THOSE FROM YOU. IF THOSE ARE ALREADY STOLEN, YOU CANNOT SEE WHAT WAS WRITTEN AT FIRST.”
Hannah
Harry and Sophie hadn’t intended to stay at the graveyard after dark, but a young child named Hannah asked them to stay with her until the child’s parents come. They waited, waited, and waited. It was 6 o’clock. They started to get tedious, so they began to play hide and seek. Sophie was a seeker, so she counted 50 and started to look around to find Harry and Hannah. She couldn’t find them because it was so dark, so she yelled at the to come out. Hannah came to Sophie and said,
“Hey, Sophie! My parents are here and they want you and Harry to come over to my house to reward you for looking after me.”
Sophie hasitated for a moment because she knew her parents will be worried about her if she doesn’t come home.
“C’mon. Harry already called your parents and they said okay. Harry’s at my house.”
Hannah said, pointing at a cabin near the headstones. Sophie followed her to the cabin. When they got in front of it, a long slide was waiting for them. They slid on it and went into her house. Her house was dark and gloomy, like a haunted house. Spider webs were everywhere, and rats ran away from them.
“Where is Harry?” asked Sophie.
“He is eating dinner. You might be hungry. Here, come with me.”
Hannah’s parents were waiting for them in the dinning room. However, Sophie couldn’t see Harry.
“Harry just went to the swimming pool. Help yourself! We’ll meet you at the pool.” they said to Sophie.
Sophie sat down at the table. All kinds of delicious foods were on it. Sophie devoured them and went to the swimming pool with Hannah. Harry wasn’t there, either.
“Hannah, I don’t see him. Where is he?”
“He went to sleep.” Hannah replied.
Sophie got scared because she was thinking that she’s alone at a stranger’s house.
“Bring me Harry, right now, Hannah. I’m serious.”
“But he’s sleeping right now.”
“I need to see him right now!!!!!!” Sophie yelled so loud, so Hannah’s parents came with surprised faces.
“What was that yelling?”
“Sorry, it was me. But I need to see Harry.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah, I need to talk to him.”
“Okay, then….”
They started to tie her with strings and Hannah brought a knife.
“Wh.. What are you doing?” said Sophie, freaked out.
“You said you wanna see Harry and I’m letting you to do.”
“……..Where is he?”
“In one of the tombs out there.”
“No… this is enough! Stop making fun of me! Let me go!”
“I hope you go to heaven. Bye”
Loud scream echoed around the cabin.
Statue’S Story
I am a high schooler who has a boyfriend named Edward. Edward and I was passing by an old lady who was sitting on a bench. Suddenly, the lady grabbed my arm and I screamed. She asked me a favor.
“Hi, young lady. Can I please talk to you for a moment?”
“Well… sure. We have about 10 minutes to talk to you.”
“Oh thank you. Actually I need only 5 minutes to talk.”
Edward and I sat next to her and had a conversation with the woman.
“Ok. Say your last word.” the woman said.
“What do you mean?”
She didn’t answer. I felt so weird, and I looked at Edward to say that we should leave the woman. He was looking at me, too, and his nose… O my gosh! It was white and the white spot was spreading all over his body. At that moment, I noticed my body paralyzing. The old woman smiled at us venomously and said,
“find another couple to sit instead of you.”
Edward and i are still sitting on the bench, seeking for a couple passing so that we can go back to normal.
memOry
Lost in the woods, the traveler looked up to see the sun. It was right over his head and he knew it was about 12 o’clock. He saw a humming bird protecting its egg. He was so hungry, so he climbed the tree to eat the eggs. When he got to the nest, the humming bird was gone, leaving its eggs. He cracked an egg to eat it. At that moment, he felt the world spinning and him starting to float. During the spinning, he went unconscious. He was at a tulip garden when he opened his eyes. A woman was looking at him carefully beside him and he couldn’t see anything except for the woman and the flowers. He asked where he was and how to go home. Then, the woman leaded him to a red tulip without talking. He smelled the tulip and noticed something horrible. He started to forget about his house, family, and himself. The woman told him to rest at her house and they went into her house. They watched TV, played in her swimming pool, and played basketball. While having so much fun, he forgot about going back to home.
5 months later, he remembered his family and himself from his ring from his wife. He told the woman that he had to go home, but she didn’t answer. She gave him her mirror and he looked himself in the mirror. Again, he forgot about everything about himself. Maybe he’s still living with the woman, forgetting something really important.
What is Time??
Time is gold. It can’t be more important than anything in the world. A rich man who has everything except for time, it is not valuable at all. Time seem to stand when I’m having a hard time with my friends or I got a horrible test score. Time flies when I’m happy and blissful.
I think the worst thing to do is wasting time, so I don’t waste time. I don’t even like sleeping because I feel like wasting time, just laying down and doing nothing. If I live until when I’m 90, then I’m sleeping for 30 years in my whole life and I don’t want to waste 30 years for just sleeping!
To manage time, I always do something. I write, read, walk, talk, study, play, eat, sleep, wash, etc.. What if I can travel into the future? I might see the newspaper in the future and see the power ball numbers so that I can gain all the price money. I won’t be worried about anything if I could do that.
Happy life
If I can determine my life and future, I’ll make my future extremely happy so that everyone can be jealous of me. First, I will go to the best college in the world. Second, I’ll get the best job that I want and make tons of money. Third, I’m going to have my true love. My husband is going to love me and we’ll have cute, smart children. My life will be filled with happiness and delightfulness. It’ll be filled with lots of friends, money,and happy family.
